Machining Capabilities By Material
Precision Machinists Co, Inc; a Massachusetts based machine shop specializing in the following:
Superalloys or High-Performance Alloys
This is an alloy with superior mechanical strength and creep resistance at high temperatures, good surface stability, and corrosion and oxidation resistance. A superalloy’s base alloying element is usually nickel, cobalt, or nickel-iron. Superalloy development has relied heavily on both chemical and process innovations and has been driven primarily by the aerospace and power industries. Typical applications are in the aerospace industry, eg. for turbine blades for jet engines.
Examples of superalloys are Hastelloy®, Inconel®, Haynes-188, MP98T, TMS-63, TMS-71, and TMS-75
Other materials we work with:
- Stainless Steel
- 302, 302HQ, 303, 304, 305, 384, XM7
- Nitronic 60
- Plastic Composites
We do not process glass filled plastics.
When dealing with diverse industries it is pertinent that your supplier either stocks or has access to common & rare materials. That means dealing with many sources & maintaining the business relationships with consistent orders & prompt payments. Precision Machinists Co, Inc meets all of those standards. We strive to keep a great relationship with all of our vendors, thus can usually get what we need, when we need it.
